STARR REPORT

Okay, we get it

The cast of “Will & Grace” is going all-out to hype the show’s seventh season – which arrives next month (Sept. 16) with a companion album and book in tow.

Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Sean Hayes and Megan Mullaly will be on NBC’s “Tonight Show” Sept. 13 before flying here Sept. 15 for visits to the “Today” show, “Live with Regis & Kelly,” “The View” and “Late Night with Conan O’Brien.” And, in case you missed the point that the show is returning, there’s a new CD, “Will & Grace: Let the Music Out!” and a new book, “Will & Grace: Fabulously Uncensored.”

Turner Classic Movies has snagged Jerry Lewis to appear on its “Private Screenings” show hosted by Robert Osborne.

Lewis will sit for an interview with Osborne and reminisce about his movie career. It’s expected the show will air some time in the spring, although details are still being worked out. In the past, “Private Screenings” has featured such stars as Betty Hutton, Patricia Neal, James Garner and Jack Lemmon. TCM will likely build a Jerry Lewis film festival around the show.

Last, but not least:

* Jonathan Silverman guest-stars as a murder suspect on the “CSI: Miami” episode in October introducing Jonathan Togo’s new character.

* Former ‘KTU DJ Louie Devito is releasing his 14th CD, “Dance Factory Level 3,” Aug. 31 – and offering one fan the chance to win $10,000 (there’s a ticket inside one of the CDs).

* DJ Rick Sommers has left WNEW.

* Ex-Black Crowe Rich Robinson guests on today’s “Scott Muni Show” (noon, Q104) to chat with Zach Martin.

* Most TV hours logged, Part 3: Joe Franklin with 17,800 hours over 50+ years (“Road to Romance,” “Spot light to Stardom,” “Memory Lane”). You can look it up.

* Softball: Comedy Central over WCBS (AM), 7-1. Did CBS AMers realize they were facing a Hall of Famer (CC’s Aileen Budow)?
