HANDY MAN – GO HOME WITH HUNKY CARPENTER CARTER OOSTERHOUSE ON ‘TRADING SPACES’

FANS of Carter Oosterhouse might be fascinated to learn that the sexy carpenter of “Trading Spaces” can tie a cherry stem into a knot with his tongue in two seconds flat.

That peculiar skill is just one of the secrets revealed on a new, twohour “Trading Spaces” special having nothing to do with neighbors redecorating each other’s houses.

Instead, “Trading Spaces: Inside Out” turns the show’s cameras on the personalities who make the show tick – including host Paige Davis; designers Doug Wilson, Genevieve Gorder, Frank Bielec, Hildi Santo Tomas, and carpenters Oosterhouse and Faber Dewar.

They’re not redoing each others’ living rooms, but they are allowing cameras into their homes, where viewers will get to meet their families, and get a glimpse at the stars’ own personal surroundings – from Paige’s New York apartment to Carter’s laid-back California house.

In addition, viewers will watch Paige as she rehearses for her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in “Chicago.” They’ll also get a candid look at the making of a “Trading Spaces” episode.

Premiering in September 2000, “Trading Spaces” is the granddaddy of TV’s home-improvement shows. And with “Inside Out,” the show gets to thank its fans for making it No. 1.
