ASSAULT AT TEEN STAR’S L.I. HOME

Cops rushed to the Long Island home of teen “Mean Girls” star Lindsay Lohan last night after one of her relatives was assaulted by another family member and had to be taken to a hospital, authorities said.

Police would not identify the victim, who was released after treatment.

They were searching last night for his alleged assailant.

The fracas took place at 6:30 p.m. at the tony, modern gray house in Merrick.

The 17-year-old star of the high-school movie hit had flown home for the weekend from Los Angeles to visit her family.

But cops said Lindsay and her three younger siblings were not in the house when the violence took place.

They said it was not clear if her parents were there.

The teen’s publicist said the star, her two brothers Michael, 16, and Cody, 8, and their sister, Ali, 10, had gone to the nearby home of an aunt and had spent the afternoon and evening there.

Lohan, whose career kicked off last year after she stared with Jamie Lee Curtis in the motherdaughter caper “Freaky Friday,” was scheduled to fly back to L.A. today, said the publicist, Leslie Sloane.

Earlier in the day, the young Hollywood hottie went to a nearby church to attend a first-communion

church service with her dad, Michael, her mom, Dina, and one of her brothers. Lohan drove to the nearby

church with her brother in a BMW convertible.

Her mother drove separately in a Ford Expedition SUV, and her father took a sports car. Nassau cops said early today they were still investigating the incident and had not made any arrests.
