STARR REPORT

The best medicine

Marilyn Suzanne Miller, one of the original “SNL” scribes hearkening back to 1975, will be joined by “GMA” film critic Joel Siegel Thursday to discuss “Cancer, Humor and Healing” at the 92nd Street Y. They’ll be joined by cancer specialist Dr. Larry Norton in the discussion, moderated by Leonard Lopate.

There’s also bound to be some laughter, and tears, at the 10th Annual Arthur Ashe Institute for Urban Health Sportsball and Award Ceremony (whew!), taking place April 29 at Pier Sixty (Chelsea Piers).

The black tie-and- sneakers benefit will honor Knicks head coach Lenny Wilkens and will be hosted by CBS Sports’ Mary Carillo, Al Roker and Ch. 2’s Dana Tyler. Expected attendees include Star Jones, Rod Gilbert and Ch. 4’s Len Berman, among others.

Oxygen’s “Girls Behaving Badly,” meanwhile, is holding an open casting call Thursday at Comic Strip Live (1568 Second Ave.) from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. You must be over 18; each girl will have two minutes to “display their comedic skills” to cast members and executive producers.

Last, but not least:

* Roz Abrams debuts on Ch. 2 today (5 p.m., 11 p.m.) with Ernie Anastos. And Ch. 7 weatherguy Bill Evans will be back today.

* Marlee Matlin returns to the tube April 27 in “Law & Order: SVU” (10 p.m./Ch. 4) playing a Dr. Kevorkian-type character who goes to trial for assisted suicide. Matlin had her fourth child last December.

* Robin Leach will host the first annual “America’s Best Mom” competition, airing live May 9 (Mother’s Day) on PAX (4 p.m.).
