WE’RE SHOPPING AT . . . FOLEY AND CORRINA MEN

Foley & Corrina Men, 143 Ludlow St., between Rivington and Stanton streets; (212) 529-5043

When it comes to vintage clothing stores, men often get the short end of the retro Puma shoelace.

Sure, most second-hand stores have a small section devoted to retro goods for guys that include Western shirts, old jeans and leather coats à la “Shaft.” But dudes can find these common vintage duds and much, much more at Foley & Corrina Men, the new Ludlow Street boutique owned by Dana Foley and Anna Corinna, who run a successful namesake women’s shop a block away on Stanton Street.

F&C Men may be smaller than its female counterpart, but it’s obvious the same kind of care goes into picking the merch, which will appeal to guys whose sartorial ideal is the stylish, motorcycle-riding gigolo hairdresser ’70s sex symbol Warren Beatty played in “Shampoo.”

In the F&C Men mix: rock Ts from the BeeGees and the Stooges for $35, pristine Levis denim or cord jackets priced under $100 and (for dressier occasions) a $450 flocked velvet dress coat by Pucci with a suitably wacky silk lining.

Not everything at F&C has a history: Foley’s new $125 retro-inspired shirts hang beside their inspirations, which are tagged from about $55 to $75.

The fun doesn’t end on the racks.

Gucci and Dior logo dop kits share display space with dozens of old cufflinks and brass belt buckles. Other kitschy collectibles up for grabs are a never-worn Farrah Fawcett T-shirt (still in itse mid-’70s plastic wrap) for $95 and a smattering of wacky crocheted beer can hats at $55 to $75.
