SON-IN-LAW BUSTED IN GRANNY SLAY

The son-in-law of a Queens grandmother brutally slain in her home on Monday was arrested yesterday on charges of killing her, police said.

Sydney Sampson, 54, was charged with second-degree murder in the death of Olga Prince, 71.

Police had been seeking Sampson, the last person believed to have seen Prince alive, since Monday evening. They arrested him yesterday morning.

Prince’s daughter found her mom’s battered body sprawled on the kitchen floor in the family home in Hollis around 1:40 p.m. Monday, police said.

Prince lived there with her 51-year-old daughter, her son-in-law, the couple’s two teenage sons and two other adult children, police and neighbors said.

The family frequently fought, and cops had been called to the house eight times – most recently last Friday – to pacify them, police said.

Neighbors said Prince battled with her daughter over the daughter’s troubled 13-year-old son. She also fought with her son-in-law, who didn’t want her living with them anymore, one neighbor said.
