NAUGHTY AND FLEISS; ‘SOPRANO’ JAMIE TO PLAY HEIDI

The Mafia princess is about to become a Hollywood madam.

Jamie-Lynn DiScala, better known as Meadow Soprano on “The Sopranos,” has been signed to play “Hollywood Madam” Heidi Fleiss in a USA Network movie premiering next year.

The movie, “Going Down: The Rise and Fall of Heidi Fleiss,” will document Fleiss’ life, from her teenage years as the daughter of a wealthy Los Angeles doctor to her “business” dealings as the head of a high-class escort service which counted actor Charlie Sheen, currently starring in the CBS series “Two and a Half Men,” among its clients. It will also track Fleiss’ eventual arrest and her three years in a federal prison, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

“I think Jamie is the perfect combination of a girl next door with real intelligence who has the ability to manipulate every situation she is in,” USA executive Jeff Wachtel said.

“We’ve seen it in her role as Meadow on ‘The Sopranos,’ but it is much darker here.”

DiScala, who was known as Jamie-Lynn Sigler before her marriage this year, has appeared on Broadway in “Beauty and the Beast” and toured nationally with “Cinderella” opposite Eartha Kitt.

She’s also written her autobiography, “Wise Girl.”

“The perfect actress for the role had to capture [Fleiss’] innocence, the intelligence behind her eyes and a sexual allure, and that’s one thing Jamie has in spades,” said executive producer Stan Brooks.

“And the fact that [Jamie’s] a Jewish girl from a nice family in New York, and Heidi was a Jewish girl from a nice family in California isn’t a bad thing, either.”

DiScala has won a SAG award for her work on HBO’s “The Sopranos,” which returns for its fifth season in March.

On the show, she portrays the college-age daughter of the head of the North New Jersey mob, Tony Soprano, played by James Gandolfini.
