HILLARY AND HUNK PUSH NEW NUMBER

WASHINGTON – A week after Republicans kicked actor George Clooney and his HBO “K Street” production team out of the Capitol, Sen. Hillary Clinton yesterday welcomed him back to speak out on behalf of her bill to create a national 211 wireless phone number, which callers could use for information about social services.

The 211 service would provide people with help on everything from unemployment claims to details on child-care programs.

“I had to sneak in here because I’ve been banned,” Clooney cracked.

The bill would set aside $200 million a year to help states create 211 programs.
