FOR COP, IT’S LOVE, HONOR, POST BAIL

An NYPD veteran convicted of fraud Thursday got married a few hours later, and had to begin his honeymoon yesterday with a bail hearing – where his teary-eyed bride agreed to post her property for her new husband’s bail.

Edwin DeLoatch, 37 – a former instructor at the Police Academy – faces up to 41 months behind bars for health-care and insurance fraud after a federal jury convicted him for his role in the largest auto-insurance fraud ring ever busted in the state.

But the impending prison sentence wasn’t enough for his longtime fiancée, Catherine Gabourel, to jilt him.

She married the dishonored cop within hours of the guilty verdict Thursday night.
