‘SURVIVOR 4″ contestant John Carroll has a message for Rosie O’Donnell – thanks but no thanks.
A Saturn SUV that O’Donnell gave to Carroll is being auctioned off on eBay by the openly gay nurse from Nebraska.
The bidding, currently up to $14,100 with six days to go, was first noted on the Jam TV website.
“Hi, this is John from ‘Survivor: Marquesas,’ ” Carroll says in his eBay listing. “I hate to do it, however I am selling the Saturn Vue that Rosie O’Donnell gave me to pay for law school!
“Plus, I am giving a percentage to charity. You get to pick the color, the interior and all the options.
“So, if you love ‘Survivor,’ need a new car and are looking for a well-crafted, beautiful SUV you have come to the right place. So, let the bidding begin!”
Carroll participated in “Survivor: Marquesas” and was given the SUV by O’Donnell when he visited “The Rosie O’Donnell Show.” O’Donnell is a huge “Survivor” fan and hyped the show endlessly on her talk show, now off the air.
She also replaced Bryant Gumbel on the “S4” finale last May.
Carroll lists the the condition of the SUV as “Brand Spanking New. Matter-of-fact, it hasn’t even been ordered yet!!!”
Carroll says he also has the “Survivor: Marquesas” key chain that O’Donnell gave to him at the “Survivor” reunion show.
“I will also provide a notarized document stating that the vehicle is the one that Rosie gave me,” he writes.
“And I will take a picture with the winner that will be autographed and framed,” he writes.
