VICIOUS ROBBERS STAB N.J. WOMAN AT HARLEM SUBWAY

A New Jersey woman was stabbed in the stomach early yesterday as she fought off a pair of robbers on the steps of a subway station, police said.

Carmen Tejada, of Dover, N.J., was accosted at the 137th Street station in Harlem by two men in their late teens or early 20s who tried to grab her purse, according to cops.

Tejada, 50, struggled with her attackers, who shoved her and kicked her in the legs before stabbing her, police said.

She was taken to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, where she was in stable condition.
