BRAVEST ARE SEEING STARS

Three 9/11 firefighter heroes will have their dreams come true next month when they get to tee off on the golf course with sports stars that include Michael Jordan, Emmitt Smith and Jason Kidd – all in the hopes of raising scholarship money for the FDNY.

“Thank you for the opportunity to help our guys and our families,” Firefighter Kevin O’Brien of Staten Island said yesterday.

Filling out the threesome are Firefighter Tom McCann and retired Firefighter Guy Warren.

The annual American Century Golf Championship donated $10,000 to the Uniformed Firefighters Scholarship Fund.

Retired Washington Redskins quarterback Joe Theismann – who has played in the tournament since its inception – said the firefighters “are the real heroes. To play opposite them and spend a great week in paradise with them is, well, just neat.”
