STARR REPORT

All in a day’s work: Jackie, George filling in

Jim Ryan’s return to “Good Day New York” still hasn’t been determined, but there is some info available on who will be filling in for him until he’s able to come back from his bypass surgery.

Lewis Black will sit in with the “GDNY” crew on Monday, followed by comedian George Wallace on Tuesday and author Jackie Collins on Thursday. Among the guests are Sigourney Weaver and Jon Voigt (Monday) and rapper Snoop Doggy Dog next Friday.

Ryan has been off the air since May 15. He underwent his triple-bypass surgery on May 17.

Meanwhile, “GDNY’s” sister network, Fox News Channel, will air a special tomorrow (11 p.m.) called “Tear Down this Wall.” It celebrates the anniversary of President Reagan’s controversial speech in Berlin (“Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall.”) with host Tony Snow.

And Westwood One’s “The Radio Factor With Bill O’Reilly,” which airs here on WOR (710 AM), is now on 250 stations and 50 of the top 50 markets. It’s hosted by FNC’s Bill O’Reilly (“The O’Reilly Factor”).

Warren piece: Insana interviews Buffet

CNBC’s Ron Insana sits down for a rare interview with billionaire investor Warren Buffet on tonight’s “Business Center,” co-hosted by Sue Herera (5-7 p.m.).

Buffet’s Berkshire Hathaway has its tentacles in many companies, including diamonds (Helzberg Diamonds), candy (See’s), pilot training (FlightSafety International) and shoes (H.H. Brown and Dexter) as well as American Express and Coca-Cola. Insana flew out to Buffet’s Omaha, Nebraska headquarters yesterday to do the interview.
