COP SHOOTER ELUDES DRAGNET

Cops are still on the hunt for the sniper who shot at a group of rookie police officers Friday, hitting a policewoman twice in the arm.

Crystal Jeffrey, 23, remained in stable condition at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, where she was taken after a gunman fired at her and four other cops on St. Paul’s Place in Flatbush just after 1 a.m. as they were wrapping up a night tour.

Two bullets passed through Jeffrey’s right arm. She also suffered a graze wound on her left hand.

Jeffrey has been on the police force for seven weeks.

Anyone with information is urged to call the NYPD at (800) COP-SHOT. There is a $12,000 reward.
