EVIL GRANDSON GETS 4 YEARS

A Queens man pleaded guilty to attempted-burglary charges yesterday after waging a four-year “reign of terror” against his elderly, infirm grandparents.

Neno Bland, 26, will serve three years in prison under a plea agreement. Sentencing is set for March 20.

The victims, Pearl Evans, 82, and the late William Evans, 80, took out a restraining order against their grandson in January 1988 after he repeatedly assaulted them in their Jamaica home, according to Queens District Attorney Richard Brown.

“The defendant repeatedly violated the directive to stay away from his grandparents and, instead, mistreated and abused them,” Brown said.
