A Brooklyn school-safety officer at Boys and Girls HS was charged with rape and sodomy for conducting a torrid three-month affair with a 15-year-old girl student, police said yesterday.
Jayson Romano, 28, was arrested yesterday following an NYPD Internal Affairs probe launched into allegations that he was improperly involved with the girl. Sources said Romano had regularly been having relations with the girl after school hours.
Although the sex was consensual rather than coerced, Romano was charged because the girl is not able to provide consent in the eyes of the law.
