JUDGE: BOMB TRIAL GOES ON

LOS ANGELES – A judge yesterday refused to push back the trial of an accused 1970s terrorist who had requested a delay due to the Sept. 11 hijackings and bombings.

After L.A. County Judge Larry Paul Fidler ordered the trial of Sara Jane Olson to begin, court officials started their search for prospective jurors.

Olson is charged with planting car bombs under LAPD cruisers in 1975, when she was allegedly a member of the radical Symbionese Liberation Army, the terrorist group best known for kidnapping newspaper heiress Patricia Hearst.
