MAN NAILED IN B’KLYN STRAY-SHOT SLAY

Police charged a Brooklyn construction worker with murder yesterday in the stray-bullet shooting of a woman who was adjusting her window blinds.

Joval “Doogie” Fisher was interviewed by Brooklyn detectives in New Jersey, where he was hiding after accidentally killing Michelle Moore Wednesday morning, police said.

Fisher accompanied the investigators back to Brooklyn where he was arrested after questioning.

Police said Fisher, who had no criminal record, told them he had been drinking with friends when he fired his gun in the air to celebrate Independence Day.

The collar came after a tearful plea from Michelle’s grieving mother, Cynthia Moore, for help in finding her daughter’s killer.

“I’m hurting really bad. She’s the only child I have. She was my best friend, Michelle was my heart – I really miss her,” said Moore as she stood in front of the Brownsville apartment where her daughter died.

Police say Michelle Moore, a 26-year-old mother who loved to baby-sit, was killed instantly when she was hit in the head by a bullet shortly after midnight Wednesday.

Cops were looking for Fisher after witnesses told cops they saw him firing a gun at the time of the shooting.

Their interest intensified when Michelle Moore, who worked for the same company for six years and rarely missed a day, didn’t turn up for work.

Fisher was charged with second-degree murder and weapons possession. He faces up to 25 years to life in prison if convicted of the top charge.
