No more talk and go for New Yorkers.
Gov. Pataki yesterday signed into law the nation’s first statewide ban on using hand-held cell phones while driving.
Until Dec. 1, violators will be given a warning. From that date on, motorists caught driving and talking on a hand-held phone will be issued a $100 ticket.
