“Flew 101 Miles An Hour,” read The Post’s headline above a story that was datelined Paris and reported: “Lieut. Fequant and Henry Weyman broke all aviation records at the Mourmelons course today. Fequant, with a passenger, flew to Rheims in 10 minutes at an average rate of speed of 101 miles an hour. Weyman covered the distance under the same circumstances in 10½ minutes.”
