WOMEN JABBED BY TIMES SQ. TEENS

Two women suffered puncture wounds when they were jabbed while walking in Times Square, police said yesterday.

Emily Rothenberg, 28, of the Upper West Side, was pricked in the upper right arm by a teen who was part of a group who confronted her as she walked down Broadway at 42nd Street about 5 p.m. Monday, police said.

Ninety minutes later, London Trevillan, 28, of Jamaica, Queens, got into an argument when one male in a group of teens walking past her brushed up against her and stuck an object into her right thigh.

Both victims suffered what police described as minor wounds.

The women did not get a look at the weapon, and police said they have not been able to determine what the women were stuck with.

Police said that even though the women gave different descriptions of their attackers – Rothenberg said she was confronted by five teens between 11 and 16 years old, while Trevillan said her four accosters looked about 18 years old – they believe one group is responsible for both assaults.
