Five boys – two of them 10 years old – have been busted in the rape of a 13-year-old girl in Coney Island, police said yesterday.
The shocking attack took place Monday evening when the girl, walking past Ocean Towers, a West 24th Street apartment building, was called over by five youngsters she knows.
Three of the boys – two 10-year-olds and an 11-year-old – fondled her, police said.
Then, police said, a 13-year-old boy held her down while the fifth suspect, also 13, raped her.
After the attack, the suspects walked off nonchalantly and headed to a nearby community center, authorities said.
The girl followed them there and reported what had happened to a counselor, who called police.
The suspects were arrested at the center and were charged with rape and sexual abuse.
One 10-year-old suspect was released to the custody of his family because of his medical condition – he is recovering from injuries suffered in a car accident. The others were placed in a Bronx juvenile facility, police said.
