A teacher’s aide was arrested yesterday for breaking the wrist of an 11-year-old special-ed student with whom he was arguing, cops said.
The violence occurred at PS 177 on 188th Street in Fresh Meadows, Queens, on Nov. 29, said police and Board of Education officials.
District 75 teacher’s assistant John Pilato, 24, of 155th St. in Queens, was charged with assault and endangering the welfare of a child, officials said. It was unclear why he was not charged until yesterday.
