CBS news TV Guide is reporting that CBS will build a multimedia facility in the General Motors Building (Fifth Ave. near Central Park) to house CBS News’ “This Morning,” “NFL Today” and WCBS/Ch.2 news operations.

The proposed $20 million center could also include a CBS merchandise store and theme restaurant.
