At your appointment, either Dr. Rowe or his highly trained staff will discuss the procedure with you and determine which areas you would like to be injected with Botox, Xeomin or Dysport. First, the injection site(s) will be numbed with a local anesthetic and then Botox, Xeomin or Dysport will be injected under the skin to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in the face.
Within just a few days after your Botox, Xeomin or Dysport injections, you should see significant results in the form of reduced appearance of fine lines and wrinkles at the injection site. Your wrinkles should continue to fade over the next 30 days, and the effects of the injections last for about four to six months. Depending on the injection site and your skin’s sensitivity, you may experience mild swelling and occasionally, mild bruising for a few days after the injection. However, Dr. Rowe and his staff are expertly trained to avoid these mild side effects as much as possible.
