Dr. Rowe is highly specialized in performing plastic surgery with nearly invisible scaring. His careful techniques allow him to place thigh lift incisions primarily within the bathing suit zone for optimal results. A groin-area incision gives him access for contouring and thigh fat removal with liposuction. As necessary, excess skin will be removed from the thighs and the skin will be lifted and tightened to smooth and tone each thigh.
Depending on the degree of skin removed, you will likely return home the same day as your procedure. You will need assistance during your recovery, but you are encouraged to walk around to promote healing. Most of Dr. Rowe’s thigh lift patients are able to return to work in 10-14 days. Strenuous exercise should be avoided for several weeks.
