The BB Server is currently towing the four spudcans of Haven jack-up rig, from CCB to Westcon in Ølensvåg. 🚢
Preparations are underway for this summer’s rig project⚓ We are expecting the four-legged jack-up rig "HAVEN" Currently, four spudcans have been lifted from from storage to sea by the Ugland Construction AS HLV "UGLEN", and are these days being towed to Ølensvåg by Buksér og Berging AS "BB SERVER". Later in the project they will be mounted on the rig’s legs.
We are very proud to welcome Northern Europes first fully electric tugboat, the BB Electra for tug services in Oslo Harbour. The vessel is an important step in the journey towards zero emissions for tugboats and harbour operations, and we at Buksér og Berging are prepared to take a leading role in the future of vessel services and technology. She will save 220.000 kg of CO2 per year compared to existing vessels and has a battery capacity of 1.720 kWh.
Our vessels "BB Ocean", "BB Worker", "BB Supporter", "BB Coaster" and "BB Server" all took part in the arrival, float off and positioning of the DolWin Epsilon in Haugesund together with Boskalis and Aibel. October 9, 2023 marked the start of steel cutting for the Robert Allan Ltd. designed offshore support vessel RAmpage 4100BB-H for Buksér og Berging, Norway. The world's 2nd largest Heavy Lift vessel, MV "XIN GUANG HUA" from COSCO SHIPPING visited Ølensfjord and Westcon Yards last week. With its enormous dimensions of 255m X 68m and deadweight 98,000T, this is one of the largest ships that have ever visited us. We made a film showing the operation on the fjord where the ship lowered to receive the its huge cargo.
