Entr supports major CCS project in Malaysia 🎉 Aker Solutions’ consultancy arm, Entr has delivered a conceptual engineering design for PETRONAS’ Kerteh CO2 gathering hub project in Malaysia. The pre-FEED scope included the transportation of CO2 from gas processing plants to a gathering hub and CO2 conditioning prior to offshore injection. ☁️ The Kerteh project aims to harness 1.2 million tonnes of CO2 per year with plans to expand in the future. 𝐅𝐚𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐮𝐠𝐢𝐧 𝐀 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐣ø𝐞𝐧!🎉   Aker BP ASA’s Hugin A is part of Yggdrasil, which is the biggest ongoing development on the Norwegian continental Shelf. Aker Solutions is one of the alliance partners executing the project, with significant contributions from many of our yards and engineering offices.   At Sandnessjøen, the construction of the flare will provide work for around 60 colleagues including apprentices, making it the largest project the yard will have in the coming year. It also creates important ripple effects for the local community in the area.   The Hugin A flare is approximately 115 metres long and will weigh around 280 tonnes. It will sail from Sandnessjøen to our yard at Stord early 2026, and is the last module to be installed on the platform before sail away to the Yggdrasil area. Hugin A is delivered by the Fixed Facilities Alliance between Aker Solutions, Siemens Energy and Aker BP ASA.

🌟Proud recipients of the ConocoPhillips Supplier Recognition Award 2023🌟    This week, our CEO Kjetel Digre and EVP Pål Eikeseth had the honor of accepting the ConocoPhillips Supplier Recognition Award on behalf of Aker Solutions.    In 2021, Aker Solutions was awarded several contracts for subsea field development and topside modifications for Eldfisk North and Tommeliten A, both tie-in projects offshore Norway.     We are proud to be recognized by our customer for the successful execution of topside modifications, subsea production systems (SPS), umbilicals, pipeline heating system and installation services.     This award celebrates suppliers who excel in two key areas: a focus on execution and doing business better, and exhibiting exceptional leadership in observance of the ConocoPhillips’ SPIRIT values.  As a winner, we are recognized by ConocoPhillips in a global nomination process.    We salute our safeguarders, changemakers,  solutioneers and co-creators in the projects for this achievement 🎉    🔷These projects were delivered on time with excellent HSSE results, despite the challenges posed by COVID-19 restrictions and the war in Ukraine. This highlights our expertise in engineering and project execution, even under shifting and difficult circumstances.    🔷The success of these projects stems from solid collaboration and a solutions-oriented approach, working side by side with ConocoPhillips and other project suppliers and subcontractors.      🔷The performance of this project stems from the accumulated improvements within the project portfolio and the dedicated workforce of Aker Solutions delivering project excellence.    Thank you ConocoPhillips for this recognition!   

🏆 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐠𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨.... 🏆 Last weekend, we had an incredible time at the Norwegian Dance Awards, a nationwide award gala for dancers from all genres.  For the first time ever, the Aker Solutions award for Para Dance was presented, and it went to the fabulous Søgne Danseklubb!! 👏 We're proud to support Stiftelsen VI and the Norwegian Dance Federation Norges Danseforbund in their mission to make dance accessible to everyone. Together, we’re working to create opportunities for people with disabilities to experience the joy and sense of achievement that dance brings.  Our very own Mathilde Fjelde, Leader of Young Solutioneers Oslo and Dance Awards jury member, had a great discussion with Norwegian Dance Federation’s Secretary General Eirik Bolme about our collaboration. We’re excited to see that many clubs are now launching or expanding their para dance programs, allowing more people with disabilities to experience the joy of dance. 💃 Congratulations again to Søgne Danseklubb – you are truly inspiring! Entr supports US floating offshore wind 🌊 Aker Solutions’ consultancy arm, Entr has delivered an execution analysis for phase two of the FLoating Offshore Wind ReadINess (FLOWIN) competition! The study follows the US Department of Energy’s (DoE) award to Aker Solutions and Principle Power, which includes a $450,000 cash prize and $100,000 of technical assistance from the DOE National Labs. Entr’s work supports Aker Solutions’ close collaboration with Principle Power to advance the serial manufacturing of WindFloat® foundations. 🤝 Part of DoE’s American-Made Challenges series, FLOWIN is a three-part initiative designed to pave the way for cost-effective, commercial-scale floating offshore wind technologies in the US. With decades of expertise in delivering large and complex structures to the offshore industry since the 1980s, the FLOWIN prize has provided the Entr team with a unique opportunity to explore ways to serialize fabrication, drive further innovation, and reduce the cost of floating offshore wind developments. Aker Solutions and Principle Power are now eligible to compete in the third and final phase of the competition which will explore implementation pathways for floating offshore wind technologies. 💡 #FloatingOffshoreWind #FutureIsFloating

𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐭 – 𝐖𝐞’𝐫𝐞 𝐆𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐔𝐩 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐥𝐚! We’re thrilled to announce that Azule Energy , Angola’s largest independent oil and gas producer, has renewed their trust in us! We will be providing maintenance and modification services for two floating production, storage, and offloading units (FPSOs) – Greater Plutonio and PSVM. The frame agreement spans three years, with options for two additional one-year extensions. 🛠️ Our project management team will be based in Angola to stay close to operations and continue local development. The wider project team will include colleagues from Luanda, Angola, and Aberdeen, UK. 🌍 Interested? We’re actively recruiting to enhance our project team’s strength and expertise.
