Unix System Administrator

Role Description:

As a Unix Admin Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

• Performing installations and ensuring all systems are properly configured.
• Implementing deployment procedures that meet the project specifications and technical requirements.
• Configuring storage solutions and ensuring redundancy technologies are in place for network and storage systems.
• Working with other departments and project teams to deliver the necessary UNIX server systems.
• Providing server systems according to project specifications and ensuring they meet technical quality standards.
• Installing specialized software and performing migration services as needed.
• Offering comprehensive administration services within the UNIX server and infrastructure environment.
• Providing support for installations to other departments and AWS customers.
• Ensuring compliance with delivery times, project milestones, quality characteristics for incident, problem, and change management, and required quality parameters.

Competencies:

• Unix Administration: Expertise in Unix administration is required.
• ITIL & Tools: Familiarity with ITIL processes and tools such as ARS, SNOW, or MFlow is necessary.
