Supervisor EHS

Purpose

Principal function of the EHS Supervisor is to advise the construction team on health and safety matters, to monitor the health and safety performance of the Project and its appointed sub-contractors. The Project EHS Supervisor will ensure that Exyte EHS Department provide a range of services including inspections, audits, training, accident investigation, and environmental monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Implement EHS management system and its compliance.
• Exercise general supervision of the observance of the provisions of the Safe Practices and any relative local regulations.
• Advise management on matters pertaining to EHS.
• Organize EHS programs and activities to promote safe conduct of workers.
• Report and liaise with the management, relevant authorities on accident occurrence.
• Conduct daily inspection and act on unsafe acts and conditions.
• Train and monitor workers safe work practices.
• Maintain and monitor EHS records and checklists.

Criteria

• Engineering or health and safety Degree with 5+ years’ experience in Environmental Health and Safety on major construction projects
• Key experience on Impact Prevention Management Systems, Safety Management Systems, Design Safety Risk assessment and Environmental Programs and Team / Group Leadership.
