SAP FICO/FSCM Consultant

Viterra is looking for a SAP FSCM Consultant who will take control of the SAP treasury domain. The SAP FSCM Consultant role is versatile and is involved in the day-to-day activities, project activities and the future vision of the Viterra SAP implementation. You will be the driving force of the treasury solution and are located between the business and the technical consultants (ABAP). This you will do together with the other FSCM consultants and the SAP solution architect. The ideal candidate will be someone with strong hands-on consulting mentality and a solid understanding of the business processes.

This vacancy is part of our Global IT Headquarters, located in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. We have more than 180 IT employees in Rotterdam, divided over 9 main teams: Operations, Development, Security, Business Intelligence, Centre of Excellence – SAP & Group Reporting, Global Application support, Enterprise Architecture, Project Management Office and IT Research Desk

Your role in our network

• Pro-actively support the creation of vision, strategy, and roadmap for the SAP global template;
• Continuously improve processes within the FSCM domain to ensure quality of data and stable interfaces;
• Responsible for global SAP payment processes (including BCM), bank integrations, cash application, and cash management;
• Manage the change management process for the SAP FSCM domain;
• Ensure ongoing user support of the SAP environment;
• Maintain product knowledge of SAP and other related tooling;
• Maintain industry knowledge of SAP FSCM developments.

Who are we looking for?

Required skills and experience

• Minimal 3 years of experience with SAP FSCM (preferably with S4 HANA)
• SAP FSCM certification (preferred) or SAP FICO background with ambition to FSCM
• Involved in at least two full life-cycle implementation projects including design, customizing, testing, training, migration and Go Live support
• Ability to analyze functional and technical needs and identify gaps and alternative solutions relative to existing design.
• Excellent understanding of accounting, controlling and finance processes and able to translate this into SAP solutions
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance would be a pre.
• Strong client relationship skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate in English effectively, both verbally and written.
• The confidence and ability to make recommendations concerning the SAP roadmap.
