Position Summary

The Sales Director EMEA will be responsible for shaping and executing the sales strategy in the region, with a focus on driving customer sales and growth.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement territory sales plans, incorporating sales and marketing strategies, and analyze trends to drive sales performance.
  • Engage with potential customers to identify new sales opportunities and manage the complete sales cycle from discovery to closure.
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and pricing by staying informed on supply and demand, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Identify and leverage new sales opportunities through industry knowledge and collaboration with internal teams.
  • Foster strong internal partnerships to meet customer expectations and deliver effective solutions.
  • Establish and monitor sales objectives, forecasting annual sales for territories, and reviewing performance to date.
  • Develop and negotiate contracts with customers, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs.
  • Hold team members accountable for achieving territory sales objectives and ensure consistent sales development to maximize market position.
  • Collaborate with leadership to review achievements and adjust sales strategies as necessary.
  • Ensure all sales professionals and support staff are accountable for their roles in meeting sales goals.
  • Partner with colleagues to drive video lead and revenue generation efforts.

  • High motivation and a positive approach to researching and documenting new business opportunities.

Work Experience Requirements

  • Comprehensive understanding of telecommunications industry technology and processes.
  • Proven experience leading the commercial direction of major projects.
  • Background in the telecommunications/network operator industry, content/asset management, digital media, or broadcast industries.
  • Strong knowledge of current video technologies.
  • Experience with sales forecasting, planning processes, and CRM systems (Salesforce.com preferred).
  • Successful track record in acquiring new clients.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Willingness to travel up to 75%, both locally and internationally, often on short notice.
  • Legal authorization to work in EMEA.
  • Employment contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation.
