Your new role

As a Product Specialist, you are (process) responsible for the products in our portfolio. You act as a project manager for improvement projects and for the implementation of new products. The main tasks and responsibilities are:

• You contribute to the development of and make proposals for new products, innovation for existing products and production processes;
• You take care of the product transfer of new radiopharmaceuticals from Development to Operations, initiate projects and do project budget control;
• You make (improvement) proposals for work processes and protocols, you conduct research into structural production problems and advise on solutions;
• You optimize existing production processes, specific products and/or working methods and monitor KPIs;
• You perform (trend) analyses on KPIs, draw up reports and evaluations, improve and develop CRM in order to improve customer knowledge and map out wishes;
• You advise, instruct and guide (new) customers in the use of (new or renewed) products. You contribute to (internal and external) publications on research, development and innovations;
• On behalf of the Development Manager and the EHS Manager, you can function as a radiation protection supervisor.

What you’ll need to succeed

To make it a great success, you need to be in possession of bachelor's or master's degree (Analytical, Organic or (Bio)Chemistry) with at least 3 years of relevant work experience. You have knowledge of analytical measuring equipment and methods (e.g. HPLC, GC, TLC), GMP, GDP, aseptic preparations, GAMP5, BI software and LIMS. You are in possession of a radiation diploma TMS-VRS-C. The ideal person would have a high degree of independence and responsibility. Communication in Dutch and English is essential for this role.

What you’ll get in return

In the first instance, the customer offers a contract for the duration of one year that can be converted into a contract for an indefinite period if it functions well. They use a salary range of a minimum of €3,359 to a maximum of €5,292 gross per month based on education and experience.

Your new company

Our client produces radiopharmaceuticals on a daily basis in their brand new and modern GMP facilities that are used throughout the Netherlands and abroad to detect various forms of cancer, neurological disorders or cardiovascular diseases, as well as for research into the effectiveness of medicines. Every year, with a team of about 40 employees, they supply diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals to Dutch hospitals, accounting for about 80,000 patients per year.
