Employment Type: Part-time (1-2 days a week, 8 hours per day)

Our team is passionate about creativity and high-quality yarns and crafting supplies, and we are looking for a multi-talented Marketing Photographer and Graphic Designer to join us.

Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Marketing Photographer and Graphic Designer with a passion for yarn and fibre crafts. This role involves taking captivating photographs for social media and website promotions, as well as creating engaging graphic content. The ideal candidate will have a foundational love for the fibre arts, and have a strong background in photography and graphic design, with good proficiency in Photoshop. 

Key Responsibilities

• Capture (with camera or smartphone) visually appealing and engaging photographs of yarn, and related products for social media and website promotions.
• Design creative and compelling graphic content for marketing campaigns.
• Edit and retouch photos to align with the company’s aesthetic and brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to understand our visual content strategies.
• Maintain and organise physical photographic equipment and digital files within our digital workspace.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a photographer and graphic designer, preferably with a focus on yarn and fiber crafts.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and other graphic design software.
• Excellent eye for detail and composition in both photography and design.
• Passion for yarn, knitting, crochet, or other fiber crafts.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and visual content strategies.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently without compromising quality.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must reside within a 45-minute commute of Amsterdam.
• Legal right to work in the Netherlands.
