Job Description

  • Work with Managing Director, Central Marketing Team, and Media Agencies to develop Benelux strategic marketing plan
  • Oversee and take responsibility for all marketing implementation, measuring results and ensuring business objectives are met
  • Manage all brand communication (consumers and trade) ensuring alignment with global brand guidelines
  • Manage the Benelux marketing budget, marketing rebate budget, and external media/PR agencies to meet/exceed awareness and activation KPIs
  • Manage 3 direct reports and set clear targets for the team
  • Regularly benchmark company marketing suppliers to make sure that we are achieving best practice and ROI
  • Manage Social Media through agency partners
  • Work with Benelux Ecommerce manager to ensure the brand is communicated effectively and product information is up to date and communicated clearly to the consumer
  • Guide the Benelux retail sales team to provide effective marketing support to retail partners
  • Manage the consumer databases (including those held on behalf of retailers) and devise an effective communication strategy for consumers
  • Manage Trade and Consumer Exhibitions and Events within agreed budgets and measure results
  • Analyse brand awareness data on a quarterly basis and report to Managing Director on trends and recommended actions
  • Act as the local guardian of the international brand strategy and champion of international defined best practice

The Successful Applicant

  • A modern, creative and commercial thinker with a long-term strategic mindset
  • 5+ years of relevant Marketing experience, ideally within a 'blue chip' brand
  • Good knowledge of consumer and trade marketing, including management of advertising budget
  • Knowledge of PPC, SEO, SEA, Display and PR activity is essential.
  • Familiarity with bid management and keyword analysis required to measure performance of goals and funnels within Google Analytics. Must be able to produce weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting on activities and results against agreed KPI's with agencies
  • Educated to Degree or HBO level in a relevant subject (Marketing preferred)
  • Must have strong commercial acumen and be an articulate and clear communicator
