Fung is a regulated Payment Service Provider (PSP) for Vertical SaaS Platforms. We enable platforms to embed payments into their offering in a seamless manner. Mistakes are how you learn.Focus on getting stuff done, no 9-5 mentality, no meetings without agenda.As a Founder’s Associate to the COO, you will be instrumental in enhancing our operational frameworks and ensuring our continuous compliance with laws and regulations. This role provides an opportunity to deeply engage with the core functions of a regulated PSP, focusing on optimising merchant onboarding, streamlining operations, and developing new processes to accelerate business scalability and regulatory adherence. Process Optimization: Evaluate and improve existing operational processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Implement new technologies and methodologies to enhance transaction processing and data management systems. Build dashboard, presentations and analytical reports for internal and external stakeholders.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all merchant onboarding processes adhere to the Policies and Procedures. Regularly update and refine compliance protocols to meet changing legal requirements and company standards.Merchant Onboarding: Contribute to the development and execution of a streamlined merchant onboarding framework that minimises time-to-market while maintaining rigorous compliance standards.New Process Development: Design and implement scalable processes to support business growth. Work collaboratively with technology and business teams to ensure that new processes align with both regulatory requirements and business objectives.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including Tech, Legal, and Business Development, to ensure a cohesive approach to compliance and operations. Provide compliance insights during product development and strategic planning sessions.Experience & Skills

Currently studying towards your Bachelor or Master in: Law, Business, Analytics or similar programs.You are an entrepreneurial problem solver. You strive to take ownership of the tasks you get and apply your analytical skills, structured thinking, and independent working style towards solving them. You are very organised and have some experience with project management.You have gained hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. You understand what working in a startup or a similar lean organisation is like. Ideally, you have worked in an early-stage startup, fintech, consulting, tech company or similar.You are ready and willing to take ownership. “This is not my job!” is not part of your vocabulary - you identify problems, take the initiative to take them on, and challenge the status quo.You cope well with frequent change and ambiguity. Changing tasks & requirements excite you. You are able to think logically, break down complex problems and prioritise between multiple tasks on your table.You have a hands-on mentality. You default into action, want to gather first learnings fast and iterate on the progress along the way.You are a team player. Working together as a team and sharing knowledge comes naturally to you.You have no problem with learning new tools and skills on the go. You try to solve problems with more things than the ones you already know.
