Job Title: Financial Controller

In our development 'basis op orde', obtaining up-to-date and reliable financial insights is one of the important focal points. Are you passionate about numbers and people? We are looking for a Financial Controller who will build the financial foundation of this organization.

Are you excited to work in this ambitious organization where you closely collaborate with the CFO? You oversee the quality of the accounting and financial reports of the company for internal and external stakeholders. You are structured and analytically strong. Preparing monthly closings, year-end closings, and annual financial statements are not unfamiliar to you. You work closely with the finance manager and business controller to implement financial improvements and process optimization.

What are you going to do?

• Prepare monthly closings in consultation with the finance manager;
• Point of contact for foreign branches in Europe and USA;
• Consolidate group figures;
• Prepare year-end closings;
• Prepare annual financial statements;
• Manage contact with accountants for year-end audits;
• Contact tax specialists;
• Further develop financial reporting;
• Improve financial process improvements;
• Enhance internal control framework;
• Backup for the finance manager.

What are you bringing?

• Completed HBO or WO-level education;
• Minimum of 3 to 4 years of relevant work experience (including reporting and financial administrative processes);
• Experience in an international working environment;
• Preferably experience gained in manufacturing companies or similar;
• Preferably an audit background;
• Familiar with Exact Globe ERP and Power BI;
• Strong communication skills in (Dutch and) English.
