POSITION

The CCO is a key member of the senior management team. Together with the other senior management team members, you strive daily to optimize further the current service level and innovation of their products. You are jointly responsible for further outlining and implementing our strategy. You are continuously working on organizing the departments as efficiently as possible. As CCO you are accountable for the business development, quality, and customer satisfaction of all projects and services provided, resulting in the growth of turnover AND margins.

You interact with various stakeholders, inside and outside the organization daily and make short and long-term considerations. By communicating openly and honestly, you ensure that everyone is well-informed and that everyone is on the same page. You ensure the right capacity within the departments through timely coordinated recruitment, and contribute to the financial management.

PERSONAL FILE

• Ideally, you have a Master’s Degree preferably in Engineering
• You will be a long-term focused and sales-orientated leader, able to create and implement business strategies
• At least 5 years experience operating as a Sales Director or a relevant role (in a midsize or compact organization)
• Able to engage at all levels and with various cultures
• Lead the Sales team to achieve maximum performance and dedication
• You are a decisive and committed leader, with excellent communication skills
• Demonstrated competency in strategic planning and business development
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Track record in decision-making and problem-solving
• Commercial insight, persuasiveness, flexibility, and ambition to grow yourself and build a strong commercial organization
• Fluent in Dutch and English, German is an advantage.

SCARABEE AVIATION GROUP

Scarabee Aviation Group, designs, produces and delivers products and services to airports across the world to smoothen the passenger journey through Airports. Scarabee has offices in Europe, the USA, and Japan. The head office is situated in Hoofddorp very near to Schiphol.

Examples of products are security lanes (for passengers and their luggage) and bagdrops (for self-service check-in of big, non-cabin luggage). Next to this Scarabee develops and maintains software for luggage control systems (BCS), has a 24/7 service, and a maintenance division.

Scarabee was founded in 1988 in Rotterdam. Nowadays, it is known as one of the most innovative market participants. The characteristic of Scarabee’s method is a unique way of co-creation with the client and her stakeholders. With this the passenger journey is key and the technology is part of the security process. For this working method, Scarabee has a security experience center in Hoofddorp.

Due to tremendous growth and a non-existing Corporate Control system, Scarabee has – despite huge growth – encountered several growing pains. In 2019 SAG went through a major restructuring led by an interim CEO.

In July 2019, the Japanese and listed Daifuku acquired Scarabee. Daifuku is a world leader in material handling with different business streams of which “Airports” is one. They have offices in 27 countries. Scarabee became a part of the Airports Solutions branch within Daifuku.

As a subsidiary of Daifuku, Scarabee has now a higher degree of Capital and the capabilities of a globally operating company to achieve ambitious growth targets.
