Last November, Xelvin organised an International event. The Xelvin International Event was held at 4 locations: Deventer, Schiphol, Heerenveen and Eindhoven. A nice moment to look back on; At 15:00, the locations filled up with clients and relations who wanted to know more about the services of Xelvin and International Recruitment. Upon entering, they were greeted by the reception committee (consisting of an enthusiastic group of Xelvin employees), some took the coats and others were there to offer a cup of coffee or tea, also important! To kick off the event, a livestream presentation was given by Dennis van de Werken, which told more about the current job market, who Xelvin is and to what extent our concept can be a solution for many companies. A key issue when hiring international staff is cultural integration. This aspect was discussed by Marcel Wetsels in conversation with Peter Ardesch to give an insight into the employee integration process. Important in this is, that we need to listen carefully to our new employee and create clear expectations for a sustainable cooperation. Through cooperation between your organisation and Xelvin, we can set up this process with the best possible outcome. After the livestream, we started with an offline presentation. In this, each location had its own presentation team who took this on. In Eindhoven, our guests were made to think through an interactive quiz.  This was followed by a more in-depth look at the procedures around hiring a migrant worker, the IND process and housing. In it, our specialists Marloes Ubbink, Fardau Dijkstra and Sophie Michels shed more light on the process and how Xelvin facilitates it. Then as icing on the cake: a Q&A with 2 colleagues originally from South Africa. They took us all on a journey, through their eyes, from South Africa to the Netherlands and how they experienced it. Several questions were asked and this was rightfully a good ending to the official part. We closed the event with a cosy networking reception with plenty of snacks and drinks. Super to see what we achieved together. Bringing a nice group of people together and sharing experiences! We are looking for a QC Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the quality of monopiles for the wind energy industry.
