It's #avgeekfriday! 🛫 This week we have a special installment: the total orders from the #FIA2024! Overall, this year's Farnborough International Airshow has once again been quite eventful for the order books of the main players. Airbus looks strong this year with a staggering 162 orders closed at FIA 2024, with a large chunk consisting of A320neo family aircraft. Boeing is also coming in strong with a grand total of 118 orders, including 40 orders for their upcoming 777X, expanding the total orders for the aircraft quite substantially. Last but not least, ATR comes in with an order of 4 ATR 72s for Air Tahiti. As the event closes out, a grand total of 297 orders have been placed at this year's FIA. This is 144 orders fewer than FIA 2022, where there were a grand total of 441 orders. #Aviation #airshow #farnborough #FIA2024 #TDA

Last Friday was anything but your typical day at the office! We faced the ultimate challenge: moving the massive wooden meeting table from the 3rd floor to the ground floor at TDA HQ in Lijnden. It took all the muscle power TDA HQ had to offer. Thanks to the heroic efforts of multiple departments, we got the job done without a scratch.
