Finally, the EU Banking Package 2021 (#CRR3 and #CRD6) has been published in the Official Journal of the EU this week.   #CRR3: https://lnkd.in/eHw3h6Q4 The final texts confirm the anticipated implementation date of January 1, 2025. However, the European Commission has postponed the application date of the market risk rules (#FRTB) by one year, now set to take effect on January 1, 2026. The Commission will adopt the delay by way of a delegated act, which will take a minimum of 3 months. https://lnkd.in/dJua9Hac   #CRD6: https://lnkd.in/edpCv-ct Member States shall transpose the Directive into their national law by 10 January 2026.   The EBA are developing a set of regulatory products as part of the #EBA Roadmap to assist banks in preparing for the timely implementation of the banking package. The key publications released in the first batch include the ITS on the #supervisory reporting and ITS on the #Pillar 3 Disclosure requirements .
