NEM Energy starts ‘school-business’ partnership with Wolfgang-Borchert-Gesamtschule in Recklinghausen.   Representatives from both, NEM and the Gesamtschule (comprehensive school) signed the corresponding agreement. Global pressure to reduce traditional fossil fuel usage and greenhouse gas emissions, including CO2, is immense. Nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions from power plants are also a significant concern due to their adverse effects on health and the environment. NEM Energy, together with Yara International for the catalyst technology, has developed a solution for NOx reduction in Open Cycle Gas Turbine plants using tempered air in an SCR system. We proudly present a recent project executed in Meath, Ireland, involving the replacement of a boiler superheater section.   The work activities originated in Düsseldorf, Germany, where our team managed the engineering and design of key boiler components. Following fabrication and tube cladding, modules were assembled at our subcontractor workshop and transported to the site for precise installation by our skilled technicians. The old unit was removed through the roof, facilitating the installation of the new superheater section within the boiler.   This project demonstrates NEM Energy Group’s Aftermarket Service capabilities, whether for HRSGs or other Boilers.
