Superhuman precision by robotic assistance
Over ons
We deliver and continuously improve a high precision microsurgical robot. Supermicrosurgeons work at the forefront of their field. They must be able to maintain maximum focus for the time required and operate down to sub-millimeter levels. With our microsurgical robot, microsurgeons can operate even smaller anatomical structures in a more comfortable setting. Together with them, we work towards our vision to leave no patient in need of microsurgery untreated. MUSA-2 is the first CE certified microsurgical robot. It has been used during various clinical studies, and feedback from professionals on its in-clinic performance has played a key role in the development of MUSA-3. MUSA offers among others scaled movements, tremor filtration and use of own instruments which improves the surgeon’s precision even further.

We’re proud to share research led by neurosurgeon Dr. Erez Nossek comparing robotic sutures with traditional hand-sewn sutures. The study included 107 robotic and 54 hand-sewn sutures, presenting remarkable results: 📈 Key Findings: 1. Running Sutures: • Robotic: 31.2 seconds/stitch (n = 55) • Hand-sewn: 48.3 seconds/stitch (n = 31) • Significant Difference: P = .00052 • Robotic times improved significantly by the second anastomosis and continued to decrease (38.8 seconds vs 48.3 seconds). 2. Interrupted Sutures: • Robotic: 171.3 seconds/stitch (n = 52) • Hand-sewn: 70 seconds/stitch (n = 23) • Significant Difference: P = .000024 • Robotic times dramatically decreased from the first to the final anastomosis (286 seconds vs 105.2 seconds; P = .003674). This study highlights the efficiency and potential of robotic suturing technology in surgical procedures. As robotic suturing becomes more refined, we anticipate even greater improvements in surgical outcomes and patient care. 🚀 At Microsure, we’re committed to assist microsurgeons to excel. Dr. Nossek’s research is a testament to our ongoing mission to enhance precision and efficiency in the operating room. 🔗 Link https://lnkd.in/dRGjyAMy #healthcare #innovation #roboticsurgery #healthcareinnovation #surgicalrobotics #microsurgery
