We are proud to be one of the three finalists in the Industry category of the DesignEuropa Awards 2024! In the fifth edition of these prestigious awards, we have been successful with our innovative Essenza 300 LT bed, which helps improve patient care. The finalists were selected by an expert jury from more than 800 entries from across Europe, with sustainability being one of the key criteria. Participants compete in two categories: the Entrepreneurs and Small Companies award and the Industry award, with three finalists in each. “Being selected from such a large pool of talented competitors is an honor and a testament to the hard work of our team. We believe that innovative thinking and responsible practices are the key to developing products that exceed the expectations of our customers and contribute positively to patient care,” says Šárka Houzáková, Intellectual Property Team Leader at LINET Group. We were honored to be part of the mission of the President of the Czech Republic, Mr. Petr Pavel, to Jordan. And we were even more pleased to participate in the Czech Republic's donation that the President presented to Al Bashir Hospital, Jordan's largest hospital. The Women and Children's Hospital, a part of the Al Bashir complex, can now use advanced, new hospital beds, specifically 20 Essenza 300 beds, 5 units of Sprint stretchers, and a TOM2 pediatric bed. The part of donation also included products from other Czech companies associated with the Czech Association of Manufacturers and Suppliers of Medical Devices (TSE spol. s r.o., MZ Liberec, Comedeq, MEDIN, a.s.). The Czech products have gained an excellent reputation already, according to the Al Bashir medical team, they are a great help to them. LINET has been operating in the Jordanian market for over 20 years and recently, in 2023, LINET supplied over 75% of the total market demand for hospital beds. This also makes LINET a stable supplier of quality beds not only to the public but also to private healthcare facilities, which have recently experienced a boom in medical tourism.
