I am excited to share that I will be transitioning from my role as CEO of Meatable to join our Board of Directors, effective June 17. This transition marks an important milestone for Meatable as we welcome Jeff Tripician as our new CEO. When I founded Meatable in 2018 alongside Daan Luining and Mark Kotter, my dream was to create a world where we no longer need to slaughter 80 billion animals each year for our protein intake. Today, I am incredibly proud of how far we have come in turning that vision into reality. Together, we have developed revolutionary technology, developed delicious products, raised over $100 million in strategic investments, and positioned Meatable as a leader in the cultivated meat industry. Jeff Tripician, with over 25 years of experience in the organic and natural meat industry, is exceptionally well-qualified to lead Meatable as we focus on commercialisation into the U.S. market. Reflecting on our journey, I am immensely proud of our achievements and even more grateful for all the people who have contributed to our success. From our investors who believe in our mission to our partners and our dedicated team of 'Meataballers' who work tirelessly every day to realize our shared dream, I am deeply appreciative. While I will miss being involved in daily operations, I am excited to continue contributing to Meatable's mission and future successes as a member of the Board. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported me along the way. Your encouragement, dedication, and belief in our vision have been instrumental in our success. As we plan to enter the U.S. market after our commercial launch in Singapore later this year, we are happy to add a true meat industry veteran to the team. Please join us in welcoming Jeff Tripician to the role of Chief Executive Officer, starting June 17! It doesn’t stop there - we’re proud to be adding biotechnology and food veteran Dean Banks, ex-CEO Tyson Foods, to our Board of Directors. Our current CEO and Co-Founder, Krijn De Nood, will remain with us on the Board of Directors to help continue to move our mission forward. FIRST TASTING - "Tasty, and a fantastic bite!" Looking back at the first EU tasting of our cultivated pork sausage last week, we are humbled by such positive feedback. #cultivatedmeat has come a long way - we can't wait for everyone to try! #staytuned

BIG NEWS – Tasting time! We just hosted the first-ever formal cultivated meat tasting in the EU. We celebrated this milestone with Techleap Special Envoy Constantijn Van Oranje-Nassau, Michelin Star Chef Ron Blaauw and entrepreneur Ira van Eelen, who has pioneered this new industry in the footsteps of her father, the Godfather of cultivated meat, Willem van Eelen. Over the past year we’ve been working with the Dutch Government and the Cellular Agriculture Netherlands Foundation (CANS) to develop the framework for cultivated meat and seafood companies to hold tastings under controlled conditions. The culmination of all that hard work took place today - the first ever tasting of our cultivated pork sausages in the EU, in our own country! A big thank you to everyone who made this possible, including our amazing team and brilliant investors. Here’s to many more tastings in the future as we continue to shape the new normal: delicious meat, without harm!

NEWS – We’re thrilled to announce that Meatable has made the fastest production process in the industry even faster, now moving from "cell to sausage" in only four days! Leveraging our leading #cultivatedmeat technology, we cut our production process time in half, down from eight days just last year. This exciting breakthrough enables Meatable to produce high-quality cultivated meat significantly quicker and at lower costs than industry norms. It brings us one step closer to scalability and cost parity as we spring towards global commercialization. We’re proud to further realize our vision to satisfy the world’s appetite for meat without harming people, animals or the planet.

NEWS - We’re pleased to welcome Lorne Abony and Trish Malarkey as the newest Board members at Meatable. With a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the U.S. market underpinned by tremendous passion for our mission to improve the world’s food supply chain, both Lorne and Trish will act as key resources as we enter our next phase of growth with a focus on go-to-market global expansion.

NEWS - We have an exciting update about cultivated meat tastings - we can now reveal we have submitted our dossier to the independent Expert Committee, launched by the Cellular Agriculture Netherlands Foundation (CANS) on behalf of the Dutch Government, to request to hold our first tastings in the Netherlands.    CANS has been instrumental in working with the Dutch Government to introduce the right frameworks to allow tastings in the Netherlands.   This is a landmark moment for Meatable. We’re delighted to have the opportunity to host tasting sessions in our home country shortly. Once we get the green light from the committee, we will implement the first approved tastings at our HQ.
