Not only did we have a fantastic time, but we also brought home the prestigious “It’s a Knockout Challenge Award”! 🏆 Our diverse activities ranged from laughing yoga to dancing, not to mention the unique experiences of a silent disco, walking the plank, and human football. It was a day full of energy, laughter, and team spirit! This award is given to the team that not only leverages each member’s strengths but also works cohesively and showcases exemplary teamwork. And that’s exactly what we did - a testament to the IPP ethos! 💪 Debbie Nash, a proud member of our team, shared her enthusiasm: “The Big Logistics Diversity Challenge was an absolute blast! ‘It’s A Knockout’ was my top pick - it epitomized the essence of teamwork. En 2023, nous avons réussi à maintenir des performances stables dans tous les aspects de notre stratégie de développement durable. 📊 L'analyse du cycle de vie montre que nos palettes locatives réduisent considérablement les émissions de CO2 et l'utilisation de matières premières fossiles par rapport aux palettes à usage unique. Chaque palette est utilisée en moyenne de 14 à 40 fois, ce qui renforce notre impact positif. 🛠️ Les rapports sur le développement durable deviennent essentiels avec la prochaine directive européenne CSRD prévue pour 2025. Simon Gittins, our Head of Asset Management, recently celebrated his six-year anniversary with us! Since joining IPP as an Asset Manager back in 2018, Simon has made remarkable progress. Within just two and a half years, he ascended to lead the asset team. Now, as Head of Asset Management, it's his responsibility to maximise pallet availability, ensuring efficient supply to our customers, while minimising the number of lost pallets through retail. This involves the team investigating retail networks to ensure there are no leaks, validating customer and collection data and analysing seasonality. Last year was a very successful year for the asset team and, thanks to Simon and his team, we finished the year with our lowest loss rate to date! 🎉 At IPP, we're proudly #PoweredByPeople and we reward hard work, dedication and expertise - all qualities Simon owns. #IPP #CircularEconomy #EmployeeAppreciation
