Last week, EVBox announced its collaboration with ENGIE Vianeo on the EAP (Early Adopter Program) project for a 480kW ultra-high-power terminal for electric trucks at the APRR network's La Galande site near Paris. ⚡🚚  At EVBox, we're moving towards an electric mobility transition that includes heavy goods vehicles.

The feedback was overwhelming and we look forward to seeing more of them on the roads and motorway service areas in Europe. ☀️ Another innovation was our EVBox Livo 2 wallbox, based on our awarded EVBox Livo home charging platform, but with new features that give you more control over your solar energy. 🎤 Our expert for the DACH region, Ramin Razizadeh, took part in the Vision Mobility Think Tank on the topic of "How do we accelerate the mobility transition?" and provided some insights into which charging stations are best suited for different use cases and therefore also for your company. The first 480kW ultra-high-power terminal for electric trucks on a motorway network in France is now available! 🎉   The 480kW EVBox Troniq High Power station is now available for electric trucks at ENGIE Vianeo's station at La Galande Lamare Laroche, part of the APRR network, enabling up to 2 trucks to charge simultaneously. The station was installed as part of an Early Adopter Program (EAP) designed to test the product before its commercialization on the highway network stretching from Paris to Lyon.   At EVBox, we’re committed to charging a sustainable future and are excited to continue this project for heavy duty vehicles. ⚡️

What’s the best smart solar charging solution for your home? ☀️ 🏡 There are two key routes to charging an EV with solar energy: A charging station with dedicated smart charging features, or; a charging station connected to a home energy management systems (HEMS) The best solution, as always, depends on your circumstances. If you only wish to optimize the solar connectivity of your home EV charger, then a dedicated smart charging feature (AKA, a single-appliance optimization tool) may be preferable. On the other hand, if you run a number of energy-intensive appliances at home (battery storage system, heat pump, etc.), then HEMS integration is likely to benefit your solar EV charging setup more.
