Congratulations, Weixiao Gao!
I am thrilled to share my recent experience attending the Joint 3D GeoInfo Conference and EG-ICE Workshop 2024, held in the beautiful city of Vigo, Spain from July 1st to 3rd, 2024. It was an enriching opportunity to engage with fellow researchers and professionals in the field of geoinformation science. At the conference, I had the privilege of presenting two of my papers: "[Building-PCC: Building Point Cloud Completion Benchmarks](https://lnkd.in/eTU-qqCR)" and "[Filling Holes in LoD2 Building Models](https://lnkd.in/eUYUuGnT)." These presentations allowed me to share our latest research findings and methodologies in enhancing the accuracy and utility of 3D building models. I am also incredibly honored to have received the Best Paper Award at the conference. This recognition is not only a testament to our team's hard work and dedication but also an encouragement to continue pushing the boundaries of our research. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to my collaborators Ravi Peters Hugo Ledoux, and Jantien Stoter, whose invaluable contributions and insights were crucial to our success. Additionally, I appreciate the efforts of the conference organizers Lucía Díaz Vilariño for creating such a stimulating and well-coordinated event. Looking forward to future collaborations and continuing to contribute to our exciting field! 😀
