The most qualified candidate doesn’t always win the job. Yup, you read that right. Who typically gets the nod? The candidate who makes themselves *appear* to be the most qualified. Here’s the truth: Perception is reality. Unfortunately, most job seekers don’t understand the basics of conveying their value. Their resumes focus on keywords and font sizes instead of providing relevant results that align with the company's goals. Their cover letters only talk about themselves and their past instead of showing off their knowledge of the company’s needs. Their outreach emails ask for referrals instead of adding value to the person they're contacting. Their interview answers are basic summaries instead of intentional, data-driven stories that highlight plans to help boost company initiatives. Moral of the story?
