EdTech platform dedicated to STEM education for post-primary school & Digital Skills Courses for everyone across Africa

About us

GetBundi is an education technology platform designed to deliver high quality engaging and accessible STEM education for post-primary school and Digital Skills Courses for everyone across Africa. For most young Africans, secondary education is the last schooling they will receive before entering the workforce. Therefore, high quality, relevant secondary education which is accessible to all, can prepare youths to enter the workforce, improve productivity, and spur economic transformation, unlocking a virtuous cycle of both human and economic development. For those that will continue to pursue further education on STEM related courses, our resources would have helped further develop their skill sets. It is time for Africa to embrace and prepare its youth for a future driven by technology in order for them to compete globally and the tool of empowerment is science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) English language and Digital Skills. Since very few Africans can afford foreign education in STEM subjects and Digital Skills, it is pertinent and crucial to focus on the education in Africa itself hence we are championing this course. With nearly 1,308 hours of GetBundi original audio-visual education content in STEM and Digital Skills from exceptionally skilled and competent educators in Africa, and nearly 500 hours from our friends and partners around the world, we are building a new Africa that will be based on technology. Check out our Video Editing courses on local English (Pigin) It's interesting, it's fun!

GetBundi, an innovative education technology platform specializing in STEM and digital skills, is recruiting its second cohort as part of its ongoing efforts to close the gender gap in the tech industry. Through its TechSis initiative, GetBundi is partnering with the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs to train 1,000 Nigerian women in web development and data analytics. This partnership will see 300 women aged 18-35 from Nigeria's six geopolitical zones receive sponsorship from the ministry, ensuring a diverse and inclusive training program. The gender disparity in the tech industry is significant, with women representing only about 20% of the sector in Africa. GetBundi is committed to changing this narrative by providing targeted training programs that empower women with the skills needed to thrive in tech. The founder of GetBundi Education Foundation, Osita Oparaugo, Esq., highlighted the alarming gender gap and emphasized the foundation's mission to support those who might otherwise be left behind in the rapidly evolving digital landscape. The success of GetBundi's first program in 2023, which focused on coding and trained 500 African women, demonstrated the high demand for such initiatives. “The response has been nothing short of astounding, with over 3,000 women applying last year, and a staggering 6,300 applicants for the upcoming program in just under ten days of the announcement,” Oparaugo said. This overwhelming interest underscores the critical need for continued investment in women's tech education across Africa. Looking ahead, GetBundi has set an ambitious goal to up-skill 10 million African workers by 2034. By providing women with access to high-quality STEM and digital skills training, GetBundi is not only addressing the gender gap but also contributing to the broader development of the tech industry in Africa. This initiative is a significant step towards fostering a more inclusive and equitable tech ecosystem. #WomenInTech #STEMEducation #DigitalSkills #GetBundi #TechSis #GenderEquality #TechForGood #Nigeria #Empowerment #FutureOfWork #AfricanInnovation
